2021 Annual Meeting Results
Below are the results of the 75th Annual Meeting of the Homes Association of Cedar Hills. A quorum of 528 is required to conduct an annual meeting, a total of 791 votes by ballot were received.
- Resolution 1 - Purpose: to amend Article IV, Section 1 of the Bylaws and Article IV of the Articles of Incorporation to decrease the required voting percentage necessary to elect a Director from a majority either to (a) 45% of those members voting in person by written ballot or by proxy or (b) 40% of those members voting in person by written or electronic ballot or by proxy - Failed with 508 votes “For” and 262 votes “Against” 
- 514 votes would be the necessary 66.7% of the total votes cast of 770 in order to pass the resolution. 
 
- Resolution 2 - Purpose: to amend Article IV, Section 3 of the Bylaws to require members running for the Board or currently serving as directors to satisfy a good standing requirements for the protection of the Association. - Passed with 631 votes “For” and 68 votes Against. 
- 351 votes would be the necessary 50% + 1 of the total votes cast of 699 in order to pass the resolution. 
 
- Resolution 3 - Purpose: to amend the Restated Declaration of Restrictions (Exhibit C) by amending the setback requirements of [lot and block redacted] to reduce the setback along [street redacted] from 20 feet to 15 feet in alignment with the Washington County setback requirements. - Passed with 686 votes “For” and 64 votes “Against”. 
- 563 votes would be the necessary 75% of the total votes cast of 750 in order to pass the resolution. 
 
- Directors: 397 votes would be the necessary 50% + 1 of the total cast votes of 791 to be elected as Director. Four seats to be filled. - John Stott - 571 votes - newly elected Director 
- Naomi Inman - 570 votes - newly elected Director 
- Tarra Castillo - 537 votes - newly elected Director 
- Chris Musolf - 512 votes - re-elected incumbent (1 year term) 
- Mark Swan - 285 votes
