The Declaration of Restrictions on your property provides that no building, fence or other structure shall be constructed and no alterations, which would materially alter the exterior appearance of such structure shall be made without first being reviewed by the Homes Association of Cedar Hills. The purpose of the restriction is to maintain property values by permitting only construction, which is in keeping with the general development of the area as an attractive residential neighborhood. The Declaration of Restrictions provides the Board of Directors a mechanism to create specific policy to deal with issues not specifically handled in the original Declaration of Restrictions. This includes size and number of sheds, solar panels, fence lines and height, and many more specific policies. Approval of permits is based on current board policy.
