Jeff Bob Candidate Statement

Let me start off by saying ‘thank you’ for taking the time to participate in the upcoming HACH election process. Being an involved resident shows that you care about our neighborhood and our HOA and I appreciate that.

My wife has been a part of HACH since 1968 when her parents moved here, and she and I became members together when we purchased their home in 2014. We’ve chosen to live in communities with HOA’s because we believe that they add value to the residents especially when the residents get involved. I was the President of the HOA for Summit at Cooper Mt. in 1999, on the Oak Hills HOA board from 2004 to 2005, and an active community member in Ladera Ranch, CA, a planned community and HOA three times the size of Cedar Hills.

My goal as a prospective board member is two-fold.

First; I firmly believe and am committed to being a part of a board that manages with compassion, fairness, and transparency. We should be working together to eliminate unwritten rules, reduce the number of policies and amendments to the CC&R’s, and have a common sense approach. I believe this will reduce legal costs and increase community involvement in neighborhood activities.

Secondly; I’d like to see us move the board into current times with proper use of technology. Residents deserve access to the tools and information that will support open communication and ongoing discussions. Easy access and easy communication for all is key and we can do it while reducing costs as well.

As a board member I will bring my business experience, technical skills, sense of fairness and directness to the position. I believe in HOA’s and the potential they have to build community and increase property values. I believe we should have clear, common-sense guidelines that are easy to follow, encourage understanding and connection and improve the neighborhood.

I hope you’ll consider supporting me in my nomination as I am passionate about our community and firmly believe I can make a difference that will help all residents.

Warm Regards,

Jeff Bob
