Cedar
Hills is within the Beaverton School District and has several parks
located in or adjacent to the community as well as a Recreation
Center located at SW Cedar Hills Blvd.& SW Park Way. The community
is served by Tri-Met with several bus lines in addition to two light
rail stations within walking distance from many area homes, There
are several shopping centers in the surrounding area which are convenient
for shopping, dining, banking and other service needs. Cedar Hills,
located near the intersection of highway 26 & 217, is close
to employment opportunities, several colleges, Portland State University,
and many recreational and cultural sites.
The
Homes Association owns and operates a RV storage facility adjacent
to the community. The CC&R's prohibit boats, campers, trailers
and the like from being stored on the individual properties except
within a completely enclosed garage. As a service to the community,
the Homes Association provides owners with the opportunity to store
prohibited vehicles at below market rate rents.
The
Association maintains an administrative office within the community,
located at 1521 SW Marlow Ave. Ste.A, where under the direction
of the Board, the staff provides a centralized communication service
for the homeowners and venders, and manages daily operation of the
Homes Association. The office is open between 9:00am and 7:00pm
Mondays-Thursday. You can contact the office staff at 503-292-1259
during these hours. At all other times a voice messaging system
is available to leave messages.
The
Association holds regular board meetings the second Tuesday of each
month at 7:00 pm. All members are welcome to attend these meetings.
An annual meeting is held the second Tuesday in May. At this meeting
proposed changes to the CC&R's
are discussed and voted on and the yearly budget is presented. The
annual meeting also is a forum for discussing items of interest
to the community.
